ok so dvd burning question

Ok so what all do i need to burn dvds. the files I want to burn are avi files downloaded from the net. How to get them on a dvd so I can watch them on my tv? And yes I have a dvd burner it says DVD +/- R/W/RAM / CD- R/W. im now able to play dvds so now i want to burn them.

go to doom9.org .. all of it its in there.

Your dvd burner probably came with some software to burn movies, you can use that. Nero Vision Express does wonders.
