I have a statutory write off GS500F complete, minus engine, electrics, chain, headlight and fairings, which I am either using or they are too badly damaged. The bike had only 9,500km when an 'L' plater had a head on crash. The front forks have been damaged beyond repair but most of the parts look to be in great condition.

Tank with carbon fibre thing - a few very small rust patches, otherwise perfect condition. No dents. It has some writing on it from the auction house. It should be very easy to remove.

Seat - Perfect condition, just a slight depression where something was sitting on it for a while

Stock shock - Perfect condition

Rear wheel and tyre - wheel in perfect condition, tyre seems to have a lot of tread left but I'm not sure how much they have new. See for yourself. Wheel bearings seem perfect.

Front wheel - has some scratching around rim, shown in pics
Front tyre - pretty much same as rear tyre
Rotor - perfect
Caliper - perfect
Brake cylinder and lever - perfect
Speedo sender and cable - looks good, and most likely perfect but I have no way of checking functionality

Rear brake light - perfect condition

Two rear indicator lights - some small scratches

Right front indicator - some road rash from crash

Side mirrors and stalks - as pictured, some road rash

Grab bars??? Not sure of the name - perfect condition

Rear brake lever assembly, will separate from peg if required.

??? (it goes under the seat, above the rear tyre, had the indicators attached to it)

Gauge cluster - bent, but the actual tacho and speedo are in perfect condition with no scratches. Odo shows 9,500 km.

I also have, without pictures, the following in perfect condition:
- Right hand throttle grip with switches and DOUBLE throttle cables
- Left hand switch assembly with choke cable
- One handlebar end
- Left side handlebar grip
- Fuel petcock
- Stock 39 tooth rear sprocket
- All the pegs from the bike *sold the left rear peg
- Rear swingarm
- Shock linkages
- Center stand
- Side stand

All offers considered. PM me.

Sorry, I don't have time to package up the parts and send them overseas.

i mean no offence but my personal opinion is that the price is a little steep all things considered.

I don't really expect anyone to buy the whole thing in one go, just thought I'd put up a price just in case. I am taking pics of the parts now.

Roshan

How much do you want for the left rear foot peg? Also what are the postage costs to sydney, or if you are located near sydney i can probably pick it up.

Cheers
Roshan

P.s. That's a right front indicator  ;)

Hey,

Sorry, as mentioned in the first post I am not selling the engine. I am using it for my off-road buggy project.
