I installed my new Metzler M-3, replacing the old M-1.  Looks like there are 3000 more miles of curves left on it.  Too bad there are none around here.

Shoulders and legs still sore from wrestling it with a couple of 11" tire irons.

Is that M-3 a 160? I can't remember what size rear wheel your bike has.

Same thing with curves around here, non existent... except for the new round a bouts they just put in.  :woohoo:

These are 150s.  Bandit 400 wheel, which is 4.5 I think?

Interesting side note:  The new one is not quite as wide at the chain guard.  A few more mm clearance.

<edit>It's a 4" wheel.</edit>

How many miles did you put on the M-1 tires?
Common sense in not very common.

I put on about 3200.  I was into the wear indicators at about 2900.  I suppose I'll get 3,000 out of the M-3 then replace both tires with something less sticky/more long lasting.  I wish there were more curves in this area.

...you don't have to go too far to find curves in OH.   Just don't go WEST out of Columbus!

You'll find plenty of that around down here.  If you want lots of hilly, curvy country roads, come around down thru Ross or Okeana (where I grew up).
