Looking at a 2001 gs500e as my first bike .... it is missing blue plastic lens for brights indicator.  Seems good to replace given risk of water getting into bulb area.  This must be a common issue because I've seen it on a few other used bikes.  Any recommendations on an improvised replacement or where to get OEM part???

Thanks!

Unless I'm mistaken these are not a cheap or easily replaced part unless you get lucky and can find someone on here that is selling the gauge surround.  I might be selling my gauge surround if my idea for mounting the veypor I bought works.  Sorry I can't be of any more immediate help.

The OEM part comes with a gauge surround (the metal part it fits into) at $91 or so from Bike Bandit, last I looked.

Alternatives are discussed with some frequency.
