Hi there,
So you bought it, never titled it in your name and have been riding it?
Why?
How did you get a plate for it?
And why don't you get a title to make it easier and legal to sell?
This has bad news written all over it, in my humble opinion.
I wouldn't buy such a bike without a title.
Truly, you might want to consider getting the title to make your life easier in selling it.
Good luck with it, bub.

It's still got the original FL plates on it and im 17 in louisiana you have to be 18 to get a title...

+1 in my thinking no title = parts bike and 1300 is alot for a parts bike.  not knocking your bike at all man but go get a title and sell it for 1400 :thumb: title it in your parents name then

after you get the title i wouldnt hesitate to ask 1500 for it and you shouldnt have any problems getting it.  i think the title fee will be the best thing you spend money on that bike. :thumb:

Yeah, get the title first or you'll go through more trouble selling it than you would getting a title.  You do know you'll regret selling it, don't you?  I've learned some things over the years, and one of them is when you sell a vehicle that you like and has a lot of life left in her, you will regret it later.  After riding the GS for a year, I think I know what makes some people want to move on from it.  It needs taller gearing on the highway.  I put a 17-tooth sprocket on it last fall.  WHAT AN IMPROVEMENT!!!
V&H pipes, K&N drop-in, seat by KnoPlace.com, 17/39 sprockets, matching grips, fenderectomy, short signals, new mirrors - 10 scariest words: "I'm here from the government and I'm here to help!"

GeeP

Why are you selling Loki?  I thought you bought the GS just last fall?
Every zero you add to the tolerance adds a zero to the price.

If the product "fails" will the product liability insurance pay for the "failure" until it turns 18?
