Any mirror under 50 bucks is crap... just FYI... It probably doesn't have glass in it...just  a mirror coating on plastic  and they look like they have minimal adjustment.

These would probably be great on a KLR650 or other on/off road bike that you plan on running through brush... but would become very very irritating over time on a street bike... considering the crappy construction.

What I'm also wondering if they're any worse then the generic mirrors that local bike shops sell at double the price...

I'd recommend looking for a set of SV650 mirrors.

I have the second gen rectangular ones and love 'em. Great flexibility in adjustment. Scoot yourself over the a SV forum and post a WTB.

Good luck  :thumb:

Well, what a coincidence!  I bought a pair of those lovely mirrors myself in January and took the bike for a ride a couple weeks ago when it got warm for two days.  They were $21 including shipping from Taiwan, got them on eBay.  You already know they look good, and yes, they work good too.  Plenty of adjustment, and they don't vibrate AT ALL, which is why I replaced my old round ones.  Go ahead and get them, you won't be sorry.  They are real mirrors, not reflecting tape on plastic like Danny's afraid of.  They don't seem cheesy at all.  I'm amazed they were only 21 bucks.   There was a time I thought any computer under $2000 was crap too.
V&H pipes, K&N drop-in, seat by KnoPlace.com, 17/39 sprockets, matching grips, fenderectomy, short signals, new mirrors - 10 scariest words: "I'm here from the government and I'm here to help!"

That's great to hear! I like the looks of them more then SV650 mirrors.

Hey, glad someone got to it before me, I bought them too in the fall.  I was surprised how quick they got to my place from overseas.  Actually, they said 10 "worldwide locations" they ship from or something, so I figured, hey, maybe one is in the US    :icon_razz:.  Got them a week later with taiwan written on it.  Still, one of the first things I did to my bike, look much better and more modern than the stocks, pretty sturdy, and don't vibrate too much- About as much as the old ones i guess.  One thing is that they are about half the weight of the old ones for some reason,  :dunno_white:. I definitely noticed when pulling the old ones off, that dam, they were heavy for better or worse. Can't go wrong I'd say for the price. :thumb:
