I've never heard anyone talk about it or offer any sort of understanding at all in the manner.  But, if you lose your job or have something on your professional record for such an incident, YOU'RE the one that suffers.  You can't simply explain that an angry black woman decided to chimp out on you. 
Maybe I lived in Europe too long.  Night and day difference over there.  My poor Polish wife has been going batsh!t crazy since we moved here. 



Gunslinger, your point of view is appreciated!  I hate that I've been an @$$hole to you before, but maybe you see the source of my frustration.  Indeed, an across-the-board solution isn't very likely.  Can't blame me for really, really, REALLY hoping, though. 
If I ever find myself apologizing to a borderline retarded bag of fat... somebody please euthanize me.  I'll already be dead, anyway.

Trust me, in my line of work I have people lying to me all day long just to get what they feel entitled to with no regard for anyone else.  I have blown up on the most innocent person (see mcdonalds drive through attendant) for the most stupid reasons (forgot to give me a straw) after even a "so-so" day.
