Do i use lock tite blue for everything i screw back on?  Or is this saved for specific parts of the motorcycle?

I don't think so unless it specifically calls for it and you use a torque wrench.

That being said, I usually use it anyway on safety items like brake caliper bolts, engine case covers.

Do you want to keep those parts?  I figure if the shop manual says loctite it then defininately, but if not I only mess with it if it's replacing something that's already vibrated off.  I also think alot of the bolts have other means of keeping them together.

If you do decide to go crazy with the loctite make sure it's something that you can get enough torque on to get it back out.  I suspect that loctite on an allen bolt will just lead to a stripped head.

Use it when the manual says to.  Coming back with a thread like, say, "I can't get my spark plugs out" is going to result in much mockery.

I never use locktite on my bikes, I just tighten my nuts and bolts properly.  Works for me.

I would recommend and wouldn't be afraid to use Loctite 222 or similar LOW strength locker for just about every nut/bolt on the bike. And no, not the sparkplugs.
