Boy, that does look good! Do you think those polished wheels will be any harder to keep that way?

from what ive been reading just polish them and then put a good car wax on them once a week depending on how uch you ride.

That's pretty slick man! If I wasn't so lazy... and didn't like riding my bike so much... I would probably tear the wheels off and do this... but it's easier just to watch other people do it :).

Bravo!

joshr08

atleast in michigan it give you about 4 months to work on and customize the bike.

Great work, Josh!  Now I want to do it, but will probably do what Danny's doing for awhile... nothing!  Now that your wheels are done you can fix and paint that f---'ed up bench!

Can you do a detailed write up of how you did this. I really really really want to do this! Only problem is that Florida there is no "down" time! If you were to be really serious to do this how long would it take?

I think this would be so awesome!

to be honest if i was to be under a time crunch i could do this in probably 4 hours next time.  total with taking tires off stripping polishing taping off the wheel and painting it to just strip and polish if your going  to leave your stock paint.....2 hours tops with removing and reinstalling wheels.

Wow really! My only thing is I don't think I can get the tires off without taking it somewhere. Hmmm, well it will be on my mind. Any specific paint I should use?

Thanks,
