would i need anything other than the jets?

That's the "lunchbox" everyone mentions here.  Check http://gstwins.com/gsboard/index.php?topic=35237.0 for several opinions/options on jets.

speaking of jets.....

so im planning on v/h exhaust w/ lunchbox k/n filter.  chart shows i need 40 pilots and 150 mains.  on the wiki it says the everybody 'blindly' uses the 150s.  should i be going a slight bit smaller, maybe 147.5 or 145?  or maybe larger?

Quote from: wikiPlease remember that we all blindly use 150 jets, knocking our performance down to a range us tards can handle.

On a 89-00 40/150.
On 04+ its 20 pilots and 147.5 mains.
The 147.5 mains on 89-00 could leave it a shade lean. I like the all year round useability with 150's. It wont act up in winter.
Remember, that is with stock needles only. Not DJ needles.

Edit: figured out what dj needles are.

Why would they make a difference?

Also, anybody running a 541?  Thinking of boring out the cylinders later and doing the 541 build.  How much bigger jets will that require?
