Interest Check 89' Gs500

I'm Looking to sell me GS.  but the day is approaching. Im getting married July 11th, 2009. And no its not because she wants me to get rid of it, I just feel it would benefit my wallet for wedding expenses. And I'll be moving out of the parents house to an apartment complex with no garage or cover. So I'm just trying to get a gauge of what I should ask or if anyone is interested.

1989 GS500 all black
-2006 motor with 1200 miles (600 when i bought and 600 from me)
-2006 tank with a dent up top (pic below)
-V&H exhaust (painted black/Not by me)
-Sudco Flat slide carbs 33MM (i believe)
-New Rear tire and I could replace front if it helps
-Newer front rotor
-blue LED gauge lights
-Nice bar end mirror
-KAT Rear Shock

Could be better
-back plastics, front fender, headlight bucket were rattled canned (looks like)
-left back plastic is cracked near tank








Again just trying to get an idea of what i would ask for the bike. I am in cincinnati, OH. I also have the old 89 motor that threw a rod if that helps the sale. Thanks guys

Thats just it. I really have no clue where to even start the price at. I was hoping somebody had some ideas. I won't be insulted guys i'm just curious what to ask or if anyone on here is interested in it. I'd like to see it go to a board member.

I would think it should be worth 1300-1500 another member is selling theres with the kat fe swap for 2200 i think so 13 to 15 sounds good for this one.

cone filters . available at most auto parts houses. and a rejet im quite sure

get the lunchbox and rejet for it... that's what I did

63mm filter mouth. Almost any length or width is fine.
RU2970 is the K&N lunchbox part number. Available at all K&N dealers. This place had a screamer of a deal once upon a time. 33 shipped I think.

Yea what buddha said.... i had the lunchbox and had to switch to the k&n pods with the sudco carbs... Still for sale if anyone at all is interested
