Steel Brake line suggestions?

Anyone have suggestions on what steel brake lines to use?  I know a lot of people use Galfer, but there are others out there.  Suggestions?

Ordered Goodridge front brake line kit , I assume ( it being a kit ) that it comes with new banjo bolts

I got lines from HEL. They got confused and sent me two sets for some reason, then hid a banjo bolt of the wrong thread pitch in with all the rest of them, which was close enough to destroy the threads on my front caliper before I realized they sent me something that was standard instead of metric. I figure the extra set of lines pretty much covers the junkyard caliper I got to replace the broken one... When I ordered (maybe 7 months ago) they were just starting up a new US distributor, so perhaps things have improved by now. The lines do look good and I have noticed an improvement in braking, I'm just not sure I'd recommend HE based on my experience...

I had to use old banjo bolts.
Other than that the lines work great (I installed HH brake pads at the same time so the stopping power has been greatly improved)

PS. I just went to HEL website and it looks totally different from when I ordered the lines, so I assume that now they ship from USA (at the time I ordered they shipped from Europe because of some technical difficulties at the website - that's what I was told when I called customer service)

I wouldn't hesitate to buy from them - I think that $49 for front lines is a good price even if you have to use your old banjo bolts

I got a Galfer front line kit off Ebay and it hada bolt of the wrong pitch in it too.  Luckily I realized it before anything got destroyed.  Be careful with whatever kit you choose!

i just ordered some russell cycleflex lines, they only come with the line and crush washers, you reuse the banjo, but the line itself is only 25 bucks. havent installed yet, but its quite a steal in my opinion.

i ordered mine from http://www.flandersco.com/, they're based in pasadena, ca. but just go there and look up the part number. i think they have a flanders co number and a reg part number. either will work.

yeah i already got it and installed it, love the brake feel, so much more linear and responsive than before

i grabbed brake and nearly stoppied. I was going to change my pads with the line, so i bought some ebc hh sintered pads. when i went to go change the pads i looked and found that the previous owner had upgraded them already, and that they were pratically brand new. Its only after I installed the ss lines though, that I actually felt i could utilize the full potential of the ebc pads. Otherwise, the brakes felt as mushy as the brakes on my buddy's bike.

Hi there,
I have Russell lines front and rear and they are excellent.
Great feel and no problems.
Skip the Russell "speed bleeders," however.
They didn't work well amd I didn't use them.
