CARB HELP!!!

REAP

In the past month I have been modding my 07 GS500F quite a bit:

F to E conversion
LED blinkers
Turning the F headlight into an E
KOSO RX 2 gauges
different pegs

and many more things that dont matter much.

Anyway I had my licence suspended for three months for speeding so i used that time to order all my parts and put them on. I had just finished putting the last item on the bike the night before i get my licence back. Next day I was so excited to finally get back on the road. I got the bike out and started it first try, tried to take off and it died. Tried again with higher revs, moved but then died. Tried it yet again, nearly maxing out with the revs and it went but then died again!
I took the tank off and then the carbs.  There was a MASSIVE crack in the side of one of the carbs . Im going to take it down to the local dealer soon but i was wondering how much $$$ i will be up for and if it can be fixed or will they need replacing?

Any input is much appreciated.

Which side carb? There's someone else recently looking for a single carb. Maybe check recent posts. Can the two of you split a pair?

In saying one side is split. I wouldnt trust the other side too much as it has had the problem but hasnt cracked yet. I will either try and get it fixed or buy a new one

Ummm... its kinda embarrassing, you see I rounded the screws off in the top of the carb when i was doing the needle trick so I used some 'slightly' longer ones and in doing so i think it was too long and forced the carb in 1/2

One of my mates is going to come around tomorrow night and have a look at it for me. If he cant fix it he said he will just take it down to the dealer and get them to order me a new part. Price dosnt worry me so much because i need to get back on the road ASAP.

Thanks for all your help guys  :D
