will a 92 crank fit in a 05 as long as i match the main bearings with the crank

The part number hasnt changed between years so in theory you should be able to. In addition to the mains the big-ends will also need matching to the rods and a new thrust-brg would be a good idea. If its a used crank I would be carefully checking the run-out and measuring the journals to ensure they are within service limits.........its all in the manuals.
