I'd like a set of GS fork tubes.  Bent mine.

I'd take a Kat front end, but I don't suppose I'll find one.

The Buddha

Kat FE, 400 - heck bring it over and I'd swap it for that $$$ ...
Oh ... have ta wait a few weeks prolly ... need to make the carrier brackets.

Oh I forgot ... part out the bugger ... swapping forks on a bike you dont got title for is stupid. I forgot your history.
BTW you crash ? You OK ? What else is busted.

Part the F*(ker. More $$$ ... way more $$$ than you'd ever get otherwise. FE is worth 150-200 by itself. Save your $ and part it. I'd take the heavy ass crap when you are left with that. Sell soft parts first, painted, body guages, lights, electrics then do wheels then the motor.
Cool.

The state is coming through for me with the title.  All the officer wanted was a statement saying I tried everything to track down the actual owner.  A big, stinking load of BS.

I'll take you up on that offer.  Too late to retract it!
I wanna heal for a while, then I'll trailer it down.  End of the semester at the latest.  That's 4 weeks from now.  By the latest.

Hit a road sign, then did a lateral 180 around it.
Looks like the left fork was the impact site.  Took my fork brace off as a pattern for another one, so I don't know if the other side is bent.  More than likely, though.  Turn signals are busted on both sides, but I have replacements.  Banged up the clocks; didn't want to look at it in much detail.  Handlebars are fine.  Broke off a mirror.  Think I broke my leg.  Minor stuff.

How much of the front do you want to keep?  You know I just re-did the entire braking system.

The Buddha

Disks, brake system, axle, legs and triples are all to be swapped, the rest is GS ... fork brace, fender, wheel, guages etc etc ...
Get better, I'll keep one of these carriers for you ... the rest I can locate at any time.
Good you're not hurt, and even better you're getting papers. Yea good work, and now get your ass to bed and sleep ...
Cool.

Can't sleep.  Left nut's swollen bigger than my refrigerator, and I think the sign pole broke off a chunk of my tibia.
But, thanks for the sentiment.

Dude, That sucks.
I got a torn epididymis a few year ago so I know how you feel.  >:(
Get better soon.
I may have to go over to the Buddha's house when you bring your bike up just to meet the VP A hole.
IF I COULD FRAME MY MIND---WHERE WOULD IT HANG ?

Thanks.
Some jackass in a panel van decided he liked my lane better than his, turning right in a busy intersection in town.  I'm still too cautious of leaning and braking during turns and such after I lowsided not long ago like that (the end of my squidly ways), so up I went onto the median.  Figured if I fell in the intersection, the car behind me would squish me like a cockroach.
Thought for sure that the sign pole would bend and just kind of slow me down.  That f**ker didn't budge.
Next thing I know, everyone's out of their cars and freaking out.  Panel van just keeps on trucking.  Now, I'm stuck with the bill for the sign and a pissed off wife.

Some completely cool guy got out and actually came over to help.  Said he was a motorcycle rider, too.  Picked up the broken crap, my Ipod, my faceshield.  Get this: dude even pushed my bent up bike over to the sidewalk and helped me over there too.  I was shocky from everybody freaking out, couldn't see anything.  That is the definition of awesome, in my book.
