Hey guys. Haven't posted in a long time. Have had medical issues to deal with. I am getting surgery on my wrist and arm next week and have put off this post but feel I may need to sell my bike. I will be unable to ride for at least 5-6 months and after therapy i don't know if i even still will be able to ride anymore. So that's the story

I have a yellow 04 F, 6925 miles. Always covered and in a shed. Has fenderectomy, LP carbon short stalk signals front and rear, carbon rear hugger from airbrush, clear tail with leds, blue leds in the gauges, if I recall correctly 1 tooth down on the front sprocket, rear shock is from an 05 GSX600.  Saddlebags are Nelson Rigg.I really don't want to sell it, but i think I am going to be forced to. If I can ride I can always buy another one, but I the money will be more important to me right now. If anyone has any offers, questions please contact me.  New pics taken 04/10/09

Sorry to hear about the surgey. Would you be willing to part with the rear hugger? I'm in queens and can ride out there pretty easily to swap it over.

Hey Superman don't ever give up on riding . I've got a 4 inch plate and screws holding my right arm

together and had both knees replaced 2 years ago and would never dream of not riding. Drive the airport metal detectors crazy.KEEP THE CHIN UP IF YOU ARE DETERMINED ENOUGH YOU WILL RIDE AGAIN :thumb: :)

I know I'm riding again. It just sucks that it cant be now and for the whole summer. With disability in NY it sucks so I figured i would sell the bike, the money would help alot, and hopefully buy a new bike next year. I do want to sell it all in one piece, just in case it doesnt sell for some reason, I'd like to keep it the way it is.

Djcajun I'm glad your well after all those procedures. Theres no way in hell I woould give up riding! Prob like most of the riders on here! I appreciate your kind words.

Remember, just like duct tape, the sticky side goes down! :woohoo:

Honestly I would like to either sell it all in one piece, or keep it the same way if it doesnt sell for some reason. So I dont have to go getting the same stuff over again. The hugger came from a nice guy from this site. His name is airbrush. Not sure if hes doing them anymore haven't been on here in a while. You should look him up. You really can't appreciate his huggers from photos. It is even BETTER seeing it up close. Thanks for the offer though.

What kind of dollar amount are you expecting to get for your bike?

Superman55

Honestly Im not sure what theyre going for. The bike is in perfect condition, and I hate to sell it. I would sell for a reasonable price I guess. I really hate to sell it, but times come youve got to make a decision. I have to worry about other stuff. I was looking at new bike prices and they have gone up quite a bit, even the GS. I was shocked! I have great memories on this bike and I could throw it on ebay, but i would rather have someone from this site buy if they want, so I know it goes to someone who appreciates the GS.
Bottom line i would be happy with $3000 with the cover and bags. But that may be asking to much :cookoo:

Ok did some number crunching today and as I hate to do it, this bike is a must sell!!!!
Make me an offer, a reasonable offer. I really will need the money with therapy starting and disability checks are just plain insulting :o
