so since part 1, you moved the license plate and changed the frame sliders. hmmm...what else? :-D

man, i wonder if i can just get the Aluizio GS500R tail in the US. where'd you get that top triple? i was thinking about clip-ons with a new top-triple, but wasn't sure what would fit.

this looks awesome! great job man.

cheers,
~drin

The triple is the original with custom cover. I have clipons. Both items came with the gs500R kit. I wish I knew how to make a mold out of CF. Then I could reproduce some of these kits for members.

Maybe you could use the techniques described here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q_fKlDzemPY&feature=related

I know what's the same....

You still have not answered us as to who makes the mufflers or where you got them.  Are you worried that we are all going to copy it?  Wouldn't that be flattering?

Anyway.  Still a very nive looking bike, sounds mean, and I would still like to know where you got the muff's and how much.  I have been searching chinese ATV sites and still can find nothing.  PLease give us a hint...

Thanks.   :thumb:

Not hiding anything.  :cookoo:  I got them with the GS500R kit. Aluizio sent me an email asking whether I would be providing my own muffler for the under tail kit. I said no and whether he had any for sale. He shot me a pic of the atv carbon mufflers he had and I said I like them. That's all I know. They are atv mufflers. You might want to search for scooter mufflers too if that helps. Or save the picture of my muffler and email it Aluizio Motos and they probably could tell you what name brand or type it is.

I still do, bikes in neutral.

Here's a list of what has changed since the original build thread..

1. Yoshimura stickers on the pipes (I know, I know, I'm going to hell)
2. Painted GSXR spring red
3. relocated license plate
4. Vintage Suzuki T500 Tank Decal, Blacked out GS emblem
You can find them here with other cool decals, I got mine of ebay for a little cheaper.
    http://www.reproductiondecals.com/default_frameset.html?content.html~main
5. Bicycle Quick Release Seat Clamps
I don't know how the F model owners check their oil with fairings but on the GS500R kit
you have to remove the whole lower fairing. With these quick release I can open the fairing
enough to check my oil. It's a PITA.
6. New anodized red front frame sliders..removed the rear frame sliders.
7. Extended kickstand with 2" pipe from bicycle seat post.

Gear yes, neutral with the clutch pulled..why..it's already neutral. In neutral it should bypass the kickstand and clutch switch.

joshr08

you got me thinking so i just went out and tryed mine in neutral on the kickstand and nothing if i dont pull the clutch in. :dunno_black:

Strange. I must have done a mod that let's me do this in the past and just can't remember how I did it or the F's can't do this. I still have to pull the clutch to start the bike in any gear but in neutral I do not have to.
