This morning by bike started smoking white smoke on the right hand side. Seems like there is an oil leak on the right hand side of the engine ( pics). the smoke is rising from the right exhaust pipe once the bike is running. There is no pool of oil in the bottom but i cant find where the leak is coming from.  The left side of the engine and everything is clean. I guess its burning oil but cant find out how.

I kind of new at this so any input or help is appreciated. What is it thats leaking and how many hours work is it to repair it?

I don't see any oil, but from where you drew the arrows that's your cylinder gasket.  Have you ever had it re-torqued?  It may be getting loose.  We're supposed to re-torque the heads every couple years, but I'll bet few of us do, including me.  The head bolts keep the cylinders and heads tight.

-Did it smell like burned oil?
-Did it quit smoking once it was up to operating temp(no choke)?
An extreme rich condition or water in the fuel can cause some smoking. I'd rule out fuel because only one cyl is affected. If it quits once the choke is off then it could be a problem with the enrichening circuit on that carb. If it smells like oil you need to dig further.

hmm ill check into that. i havnt had it retorqued. ive only owned it for a few months now. THeres no pool of oil or anything but the right side of the engine and everything is covered in oil ( all black, from top to bottom) while the left side is clean and shiny metal.

.

it did smell like oil. I checked the oil level when is aw the smoke and it was low.  it didnt stop smoking. i didnt keep it running for long once the smoking started. the longer i leave it on, the more smoke it produces. It also smoked when the choke was off. I rode it home and it was running fine.

ok im not sure but this is the exact steps of what happened. maybe it has something to do with it.

i parked outside overnight, and the next morning i hoped on and rode it home. It ran fine with a few noticeable coughs. when i looked at it once i got home, i found the left spark plug connection was taken out (maybe someone did it overnight) i put it back in and make sure its secure, start the bike, and the left side starts smoking in the front from the exhaust pipes. im not sure if this is of any help.

Ty for the input
