So I just installed SM2 bars on my bike but I still want a little more of an agressive position. Is there a way I can lower the front end of the bike? If not are clip-ons any lower then the SM2 bars?

fred

You don't want to lower the front end. It already doesn't have enough suspension. Look for clipons. Also, you could go with the katana front end and possibly get lower. Also, are you sure you're no wanting the rear end higher? You could also get rearsets to get your feet up and back for a more aggressive stance. Also, how aggressive do you really want to be? Unless you're building a track bike, why not stick with what's comfortable so you can ride for longer periods of time?

i think ex500 used 37mm stock as did 89 cbr600 hurricain
05 GS500F
mods
k&n air filter, pro grip gel grips, removed grab handle, pro grip carbin fiber tank pad,14/45 sprockets RK X-oring Chain, Kat rear shock swap and Kat rear wheel swap 160/60-17 Shinko raven rear 120/60-17 front matching set polished and painted rims

Canonball

if you get clip-ons you're probably going to want to mount them under the triple (based on how aggressive you're talking) and if you have an older GS you're going to have to do something about youre headlight mounting bracket.

just a heads up cuz this is an issue i'm currently dealing with lol

So sorry scot, I lost that dogbone+linkage, then I have 3 that are out with people who have not sent me the stock one back.
Grind yours, easier and faster than me sending it. Muffler shops can do it for you. Fit it to the shock as you habe thm grind it.
Sorry again. I'll refund that extra $ you sent ... and where did mine go ... I am so mad.
Cool.
