New rear tire arrived today (Avon RoadRider 130/70 - 17).  Can't wait to get it changed out, balanced & installed.  The OEM's got 11.4 K miles... and it's time.  I hope this tire change goes smoother than replacing the 30-year old rubber on my RD - I had to take a hack-saw to that one  - it was sooo stiff (and bloody heavy like a cinderblock).

Got it from Motorcycle Pro Shop: $74 + 12 shipping, delivered in 6 days (including weekend). Not too shabby...

I'll let you know how it works out...
