Chain gaurd cleaning

I was look at cleaning my chain guard, it had petrol over it around a week ago and has gone a milky grey colour in some spots. What would be my best option to clean it?

Has anyone had this happen to them?

Should i just respray, ill post up pics soon.

maybe try black shoe pollish.  Do a search, someone here did it to all his black plastic parts.

That's not a bad idea with the polsih. Too bad I got pissed last night in the rain and ripped the Buddha loves you thing off at the car wash  :icon_lol:
