Okay, I need some advice from you people. Im takin this girl out on a date. Which of my 2 rides should I use. She loves bikes, but Im concerned that her parents will trip if I take their 18 yearold daughter on a date on my bike (dont worry, Im only 19). Should I care?
THIS IS SERIOUS!!! I need help.

take the car..

and take it slow

I would say take teh bike but if you have minimal experience and no expereince riding 2 up.. i wont suggest it.

I took vanessa on the bike on our first date (the date that started it all). But we only went to In-N-Out and back.. and i took teh streets.. her first time on a bike and she was a bit scared.. so i took it slower..

i wouldtn suggest it if your a new rider and if your not used to going 2 up.. You dont want to be the one to tell the parents her daughter is in the hostpital cause you dropped the bike on her.

IMO I would suggest the car:

1) Helmet head or bugs in teeth are not very attactive for a woman

2) Cars are much safer than bikes from other idiot drivers on the road

3) When riding 2 up alot of passengers, and drivers too, don't realize how important it is to LEAN WITH the rider (this could be very dangerous)

4) Unless your name is Colin Edwards or the like, I would be crazy to let my "daughter" ride on the back of someone elses motorcycle

Bottom line:
Inexperience + passenger + idiot drivers on the road who don't see you = RECIPE FOR DISASTER :nono:

Besides, your convertible Camaro is pretty cool and you can talk or listen to the radio while driving!

Definitely the car.  If anything makes Dad's more nervous than picking up their daughter in a red convertible camaro, its picking up their daughter on a motorcycle  8)

Don't wanna pull out all the stops on the first date either... save something for the second date.

Good luck on your date

The car!  Its the whole hair thing.

Once you have been going out for awhile take her for a spin!

NIce rides man. I was driving a shitbox '79 Celica when I was 19. Damn! I'd go with the droptop. Either one of those rides is going to freak her dad out - the only thing you could do to make him more uncomfortable is to rent a van! Remember to open her door and walk her to the door when you drop her off. Good luck young padowin.

Car. Of course, when I had nothing but motorcycles, I always rode over to her house, and then we hopped into her truck (or car). If she didn't like motorcycles, I didn't date her (eliminates the 'bike or me' ultimatum). The good thing about motorcycles is that it gets her over the touch barrier (she has to hug/hold/touch you to ride the bike) and, for the father, there's no privacy on a motorcycle. ;)
The motorcycle is no longer the hobby, the skill has become the hobby.
