Rear wheel off-center, is this supposed to be this way??

Mmmm... Maybe that's why my new shock felt much much stiffer than the stock..

looking at that parts diagram I notice the 08 does not have part 12(non drilled nut), part 8(non drilled axle) and part 27.  Looks like the 08 is using a regular nut without the split pin? (or at least mine is)  I thought for safety reasons all bikes had to have the drilled nut, axle and split pin.
