Which car/truck factories make what, and where are they located?

I've been looking around and realize I've really lost track of who makes what, and where they  make it.  Do any of you know of a comprehensive worldwide list of which carmakers have factories, where they are and what they produce at each one?

If you have a factory near you,  have you ever been there?   Anyone know anyone who works in a factory?  How is business?   How does it affect your local economy?

I only know basics, like Honda Accords and Toyota Camrys in Ohio, Corollas (and its twin, the Pontiac Vibe) and Tacomas come from the NUMMI facility in California.   Hyundai has a factory in Alabama, but I'm  not sure what models they make there.  There is a Mercedes facility somewhere in the southern USA (Tennessee or Alabama?).

Worlwide info sought, as well.   What are they building in your respective neck-o-the-woods?
On those days when life is a little too much and nothing seems to be going right, I pause for a moment to ponder the wise last words of my grandfather:  "I wonder where the mother bear is?"

Mercedes has a huge plant in Tuscaloosa they just spent -another- 1.2 billion on upgrading/expanding. Don't know the models built there, it used to be their SUV plant.

Hyundai make the Sonata here in Alabama too, iirc. Might want to research that one.

Nissan makes their heavy trucks (Titan) and heavy SUV's (Aramada) just north of Jackson (capital of Mississippi).

Honda makes a few here in Alabama also, but I can't remember what.

All the industrial workers i'm in contact with say work is doggedly slow. They hide in the corners and the sup's try not to find them. Really. Dead slow.

If you want a real American car buy Japanese, most of the cars they sell in the US are made in the US now.  If you want a car made in Canada or Mexico buy American.  Thank the UAW and outsourcing.

i really don't think it matters a whole lot in today's society where the final product comes from. american based companies have factories over seas and over seas based companies have facotories here. when i was still working for Crown(forklifts), they talked about a huge new pallet manufacturing facility they built in China. people got mad that it wasn't built in the u.s. however, according to the chinese govt., if you don't have a manufacturing base there, you can't sell your goods there. so, alot of the times, it's politics really. not always company greed that dictates where they put specific plants. just my opinion though.
