and by finished, i mean it doesnt start, and leaks gas (still needs a new starter relay and fuel filter)... but none of that is going to change how it looks!

first time doing anything of this magnitude, but it went from this...

...to this!

if you can't fix it with a hammer, it's an electrical problem.

no, no plastic. almost all of my fitment problems were solved by ditching the plastics. since all the bits are from an 94 E and the frame and seat are from an 07 F, i had to squeeze things to make them fit. curiously, the airbox didnt fit so i was "forced" to go with a lunchbox and a re-jet. after i get things sorted i'm going to have to get a new pipe for it.  loooove the sound with just the lunchbox though...  :icon_mrgreen:

With no plastics you can create your own set-up for hard case mounts or be creative and design custom streamlined storage that hugs the frame.  How are you with a welder?

i can count on one finger the number of times i have welded anything, ever. that said, i like the way you think, and i think i'm going to have to look into doing that now. i was only just now (literally, sitting here at work 5 minutes ago) looking at maybe getting some cases for it, but didnt have any idea where to start...
