Geeze I didn't know you were talking about how bad the leg had gotten here! I didn't read  this one cause I'm not as car savvy as the others!

You need to start bandaging that if it's not getting any better. A prescribed topical anti-biotic would be best but since you can't get in the HD for two weeks. Get sterile water (yes sterile) cleanse the wound they even have a wound cleaner which is sterile water that you can buy at any medical equipment place. Then slather the antibiotic cream on wrap it not to tight to cut off circulation. You do not want to "dry bandage" it though because it could stick to the wound make sure the cream keeps it a little moist not too much because of heat and bacteria but you need to keep that wound from rubbing on your pants and will help if you bump it.

I'm not home ATM when I get home I'll get out some of my medic books to get you a detailed step by step for ya.
