Water drain hose?

Can anyone tell me i'm right in thinking that one of the hoses coming from the bottom of the bike is the water drain hose - the one with a rubber cap on it's end? I'm not sure what it's for but asume the cap needs to be removed at intervals to drain any water out, and why would there be a rubber cap on it in the first place. Mine seems to have split and there's drips from there.
Any help would be great.
Cheers

i thought that one was from the airbox. So isnt there one from the battery, one from the airbox, and another water drain hose that drains water or gas from the tank to the ground...

The rubber cap (which has a slit, so water should drain out, but air should not suck back in) is from the airbox, unless some idiot rerouted your hoses all wrong. That's why there's the slit cap on it - to keep air (that has not passed the air cleaner) from sucking in. Does not need to be removed - simply squeezing would let out anything that had not dripped out itself.

If that one is dripping, check your float heights pronto. It usually drips fuel, not water.

The gas filler area drain (rain water/fuel overflow for the sloppy fillers) is just an open hose.

The third is/should be the battery vent, unless you've changed to an AGM ventless battery.
