Well that is a surprise they look like they would handle decent at least? :dunno_black:

Naaa its all fine ... Cafeboy is just mad I called attention to his mullet.
The savage I chopped handled better than the stock savage, which is a little heavy steering for a small cruiser.
Cool.

Nighthawk doesn't handle all that great, the height and weight of that bike is a handful no matter what you do. That and the 80's wheel and tar design are just barely adequate by today's standards.

The savage being super light tends to cover up all its faults. Its length is hard to get round corners, but its lighter than a GS and is very bottom heavy.

Cool.

1 cyl and no bloody perimeter frame. You toss that rear fender and it loses 30lb from high up and far back in the frame. Toss the front end with its 4 inch of trail and put in my raked flipped round dirt FE and you get a 45 degree rake, 100" wheel base 1" trail monster that thinks its a GP bike ... or a super mono.
Anything the GS has, it only has 1/2 of.
Cool.

Savage is a cruiser, though one guy on suzukisavage.com has turned it into a cafe racer ...
The savage could vibrate a lot less ... or more depending. Its pretty nice actually when you're riding it, sr500 I guess has to work a lot more and spin a lot higher. Like I said, 1/2 as much as a GS, so this spins to 5-6K, think it redlines @ 7 ... dont worry, your ignition key falls out long before you get to 7. So you'd never have to worry.
Cool.

Mu hahahahahahahahahaha ... The damn short manifold on the air box side is your biggest problem. See if you can soak em and lube em and maybe warm them with a hair dryer before removal/installation. I did, for 5-6 months, made very little difference.
