I've almost successfully closed on my house & should be walking away with some money in my pocket...enough to buy a used car and pay cash.

I'm looking at a 2007 Honda Accord, 4-cylinder v-tec engine.   Does anyone have one of these?   Do they require premium fuel?

hmm, you should be able to find an owners manual online. our ninety 7 vtec accord doesn't require premium. they have knock sensors anyway. it will retard the timing and you'll be fine.

congrats on the cash !

accords use regular fuel..

the ones that require premium are stuff like the TSX, TL, Civic Si, S2000.. all the high compression engines.

Yeah, I looked closer at the spec's and it's like 9.7:1 compression, and I'm sure that's not going to require premium.

I *knew* the GS'ers would have the info.   Anyone ever notice we seem to have more common sense and general knowledge of things in here than the outside world?  Or am I just imagining things?   :thumb:
