fuel tap and fuel cap

Does anyone know if the 1989-2000 fuel cap and fuel tap fit the 2001+ model tanks. Just because I've got a 2004 tank with no cap or tap so just thought id ask before I start tinkering.

Well I'm gunna take my old tank off tomorrow and drain it. Then we will see if they fit. Was just cruious but it seems noone knows.

if it's the 4 bolt style it probably does.  The suzuki 4 bolt style is interchangable for like a gazillioin models.  My 90 GS has a 2007 hayabusa cap.

Really, a busa cap will fit! Then that means I can bet me a bitchin bling cap for Flick! LOL!

It was the cheapest keyless one I could find.  The kanji logo engraved into it is worth at least 5 horsepower...and of course extra street cred.

yes, the cap will fit, the fuel tap I'm not sure of, an easy way to tell, would be to go to bikebandit, and do look up the same part for both of the years, if the part number is the same, then it is guaranteed to work.
