(1) Meet at: Starbucks Coffee, 14801 Los Gatos Blvd, Los Gatos


From Los Gatos, we'll take 17 > Old Santa Cruz > Summit > Soquell San Jose > Porter > Bay > Peets Coffee in Capitola:

(2) Second stop will be at Peet's Coffee in Capitola, 819 Bay Ave, Capitola

Then to Moss Landing and onward!
Surf City Coffee, Moss Landing > Chevron Gas Station, Carmel
22.1 miles ~ 27 minutes | KSU: 10:30 a.m. > ETA: 11:00 a.m.

Chevron Gas Station, Carmel > Bixby Bridge, Big Sur
13.2 miles ~ 19 minutes | KSU: 11:30 a.m. > ETA: 12:00 p.m.

Bixby Bridge, Big Sur > Mill Creek Picnic Grounds
54.2 miles ~ 62 minutes | KSU: 11:45 a.m. > ETA: 1:00

Many are bringing picnic lunches....I'd like to find someplace to eat, Nepenthe? Gorgeous, but pricey. We can always commune with beauty there and then find a dive to get some real food...or just find some real food?  :icon_mrgreen:

No changes, I'm going to like it just the way it is.  :D  I'll bring some beef jerky to tie us over till we can find real food.

Awesome ride!  And, I'm not as sore as I thought I'd be (a couple of ibuprofens before bed worked, and some aloevera on my face and neck)!

We put in a LOT of miles yesterday (definitely over 300....I think I came close to 400).

Someone has some pics of me while we were riding. A couple riders were pointing video cameras while they were riding. One was on hiway 1 outta Moss Landing.
The other was towards Big Sur, as I caught the group and flew past :icon_mrgreen:

I stopped at Ventana on the way back and it was closed for remodeling :o
In The middle of July :dunno_black: :flipoff:
So I went back to Nepenthe and had a rediculously expensive burger :2guns:

It was good to get back on the bike :thumb:
