hey guys this is my first post so go easy.

So my problem is that when i use my turn signal right or left my rear signal lights don't work.  my fronts work just fine and flash at their normal rate.  i noticed this a couple days after i layed the bike down (yea i know, i suck) so i'm guessing its not just a coincidence.  i pulled the seat and turned on my right signal. while it was operating, i used a known good 12v test light and probed the wires running to the right rear turn signal and found that i am not getting voltage to the rear signal.

this is where you guys come in.  my guess is that when it went down i jarred something loose in the cluster.  what do you guys think?  does anyone have or have access to a service manual or wiring diagrams?  i work on cars for a living and electricity is the same in both realms.

i'll be checking this post pretty regularly for a while, or at least until i give up and send it to the stealership.

thank you in advance

If you're lucky the turn signal ground wire pulled out of its connector.  You didn't smash one of the turn signals?

This is an E diagram, but most of it probably applies.

This is supposedly an F diagram (probably European model, given the passing switch) - likley any F is any F, rather than there being much (if any) in the way of year to year changes. It's not nice and in color like that one is, but it looks like turn signal harness is same colors.

Start with looking for an open ground on the rear turn signals - black with white is the lighting (and most other things)  ground color code. If the tail/brake works and the turns don't, that's one diagnostic to look into.

Update

Well I wasn't able to check this as promptly as i expected but thank you all for your responses.  DoD#1 thank you for the diagrams.  I am on my way out to the shed to start going over this.

Since my first post i now only have one turn signal bulb working.   With the help of the schematics i should get it figured out no sweat.

Thanks all, i'll let you know what i find.
