Hello All. I was just wondering if it would be possible to install a bigger headlight on a 94GS?  Now please correct me if i'm wrong but the current headlight has a diameter of 7" can anyting bigger be installed? Say a 8.5" or 9"?

I think you could put as big of a headlight on as you want. You're just going to have to make your own brackets to mount it, or find some made for wider lights. Are you specifically looking for a bigger one, or are you just assuming a bigger light would be brighter? If that's the case you could find a brighter light somewhere that's the same size if you look around.

I don't know much about electrical systems, so I'm not speaking from experience here.

I have fitted various bulbs in my stock housing over the years. Very effective, cheap, and harmless "mod." I think stock bulb is 55w/60w lo/hi beam. I've tried 60w/80w and a 60w/100w bulb at different times. 100w seemed to bother other drivers though. I became worried about my safety when they were distracted and/or looking right at me. You know what they say about "your car will go wherever you're looking."

I wear an extra light on my helmet at night so two "D" cells and I am good to go. I look like a train coming down the road and people move out of my way! :D

you should do this.

I thought about it but maybe a little more light than I wanted. I am thinking about the Hella 4000Compact (the hid one) and the MicroDE something or another which is an HID projector. Although they are so freaking expensive. Nearly 300 for each? Gimme a break Hella!
