if someone wants one of these generic cafe fairings, PM me, I've got 2 of them. One used for a couple months with brackets modified to hold it on much better IMHO:

the other new in box. $50 shipped for either one? They're usually at least $50 + shipping on ebay.

It did a great job of reducing wind without being too tall. The plastic is pretty cheap and thin compared to a fiberglass fairing, but hey, it's cheap too. And it holds together ok. Also, one of the little bolt holes doesn't line up between the screen and the fairing. Apparently they're all this way, I assume all the ebay ones are, that's how I ended up with two of them...

Sent you a PM to see if you had a couple more close up type pictures. I like the looks of them but just not sure I want one that large.

Thanks,

take a look at the wiki, I posted another cafe pic and my current screen there. I just don't know what the current screen is really called!   :dunno_white:

I took some close up pics of the mounts I modified for the cafe one, if I find them this weekend I'll post them up. The way the mount is, there's only one bolt on each side and resting against the headlight keeps it from moving. But the bolts are in open slots and if they loosened up at all, it would fall right off. So I added another bolt (that's why you see two on the side of the fairing in that pic) and it's captured on there even if they got loose.  :thumb:

So you're selling the black ones not the silver one right?

Thanks,
CB
