Foot peg rubber?

I have a 92 and the rubber on the foot pegs is falling apart, causing some problems. Do they sell this stuff anywhere, or does anyone have some I could purchase/have? Thanks a ton!

Well, I like rubber myself and I am sure there are plenty of replacements on here for sale. Go to the for sale section and post you want to buy etc.

It seems in here most prefer the Kat metal pegs anyway so that is also an option for you. It takes a one time small modification and no more worries!

I swear...I am Mr. "be nice to newbie's" guy, but, sometimes it's like they aren't even trying.

Type "gs500 foot peg" into google. Note what happens.

Read the wiki. Yes, the layout of the wiki could be more logical, but imagine the wonderful things you might find there by accident.

OR

Try your local Suzuki dealer.

OR

Try posting in the For Sale / Wanted section.

Yes, "they" still sell this stuff.

I prefer rubber foot pegs...helps dampen vibration (I hope).

Well being nice to NOOBS is cool. Remember you had to start some where once too. And if Buddha took on your attitude we'd all be lost. So be nice it's harder I know but everyone benefits from your advice remember that. It's not just his question but for every question posted there are usually many that are not about the same thing.

I agree, and have made your argument to other members in the past when they were a little too hard on new members.

But,

I also like when new members take initiative to look around a little before asking questions. If the question had been "I was looking at the parts break down on Bikebandit and had a hard time finding the foot pegs, can some one point me in the right direction?" then the answer would have been different.

Personally, I hate the layout of the wiki but there is an enormous amount of info to be had there...including parts suppliers.
