That kinda looks like it sucked... lol, I actually did that same thing before only it was a high speed pnumatic angle grinder.... Those grinding disks, kinda burn the skin away instead of cut it though... doesnt smell too good, and you have to scrape away the crusty nastyness of skin it leaves.
Current project:

Ive also carried ( and still do) a small roll of duct tape. and a piece of plastic. film, incase of some gnarliness. can coer it if need be. strips of tape will hold in place until help is obtained

I've got 2 packs of Quick Clot, super glue and gauze in my first aid kit.  That's all anyone ever needs.  If it's too small for QC, it's too small to worry about.

OOoooh, be careful with that stuff.  Not good if you inhale it.

Sometimes folks open the package too hard in an emergency and it explodes all over their face, like a bag of Cheetohs when you're drunk.
Hard to use it when your eyelids are stuck closed.
It's great stuff, if you're calm enough to use it.  We were issued a few bags for my tank crew, in the war.  Always wanted a chance to use it.  (Actually part of what inspired me to follow medicine.)
Don't try to use it on viscera, of course.

You just keep on surprising me, Terry.  You know about the tampon trick, too, right?  Not really that effective, but pretty cool.

Tampon?  :icon_eek:

I use the super glue......

never seen the duct tape bandaids...

Used the electrical tape, only works if you tape it back onto itself, otherwise it wont hold sufficiently..

I've also used vaseline pushed into a cut to stop bleeding, string, and saranwrap.... Among other things... what evers handy...

I'd say the user is dangerous rather than the saw blade, as the thread title suggests. Let the tool do the work, if it ain't up to the job, buy one that is.
