First Post for me. This is really bugging me too, I reckon the tank stripes look stupid. Some people in other threads have said that its possible to carefully cut through the clear coat with a flat razor, but I'm not sure how you'd go about it. Has anyone done it? Could you give us a little more detail?

Repainting the tank seems like a lot of hassle is all.

It's actually not that bad. Take it off, drain it, sand it down, and paint it.

Looks nice to me.

Too bad I have to sell it to pay for college...  :technical:
