Who has Dainese gear in this forum?

I'm doing a brand research for my school project and would appreciate a lot if you help me with these simple questions.

1. When you see a Dainese motorcycle jacket or suit, what emotional feeling do you get from the gear? Does it, by any chance, remind you of an aggresive looking animal or anything else?

2. When you use a Dainese motorcycle jacket or suit, how do you want other people do feel about you?

Thanks,

Toogoofy317

Man if the suit made my guy look like Valentino Rossi in the latest ad I'd be getting it for him quickly!

Sorry don't own anything Dianese too expensive for my blood!

1.  My stomach gets turned in a knot and I feel stupid.  Because I don't know how to pronounce Dainese.  Reminds me of expensive gear, made of cows, which are quite docile.

2.  If I used a Dainese jacket or suit, I wouldn't care what others thought about me.

I've never seen a "Dainese" jacket/suit before, so I Google imaged them:

1. My emotional feeling would be happy because it would be good to see more motorcyclists on the road.  Does it remind me of an aggressive animal?  No.  The textile jackets remind me of the spandex shirts you buy at Express and the armor looks overengineered (i.e., too many facets).
2. If I wore one and the people knew who Dainese was, they'd probably think I was metrosexual and rolled with the northern NJ crowd.  Otherwise I think people would feel "Hey, he rides a motorcycle, cool!"

i have a 2 piece set of dainese leathers. used to use them all the time riding on the street and track. they were quite comfortable and not as hot as one might think when riding in the summer heat.
unfortunately they no longer fit.

2. I'd feel stupid wearing a suit that cost more then my bike.

3. Never heard of them until now but I followed the link provided and I like the Bagota shoes. http://www.kneedraggers.com/details/Dainese_Bogota_Leather_Shoes--614232.html

4. And that's all I got to say about that!

I thought and still think its "Day-a-Knee-see" the Dai as in Daisey, actually probably now I come to think of it take out the extra "a" so its "Day-Knee-see" but i could be wrong :dunno_white:
I have used their gloves they are the best ever just very expensive.
1. Dont feel like a wild animal or anything like that just a rider with good goves on.
2. Dont care what others think.

On second thoughts, I'm positive it's more "die-NEH-zay". Sorry. :icon_mrgreen:

BTW I just own a pair of textile gloves from that brand. They're great, been having them for some 12 years now.
They're just a little bit worn but still do their job very well.
Dainese is expensive gear but I've always heard very good things about'em. :thumb:
