Brake lever and pedal not stiff after bleeding brakes and changing pads

Okay, on that I can't be to biased about because I rode for about 2 years w/o rearbrakes but riding without front brakes is the craziest fracking(Shameless BSG plug) thing I've ever heard of. There's nothing safe about that  >:( :o
