Mufflers

Anybody have experience with Emgo mufflers?  Im looking to do a underbody exhaust like Seamax but I dont want to spend a lot of money.  I saw a build up of a muffler around here but I dont have a welder and it would cost more in time than I would save in money.  So yeah, anyone have any experience with Emgo, or know of any decent shorty mufflers that arent expensive and are decent quality?

If you figure this out, post back here. I am wanting to do the same thing but not necessarily with a stright tube. I was thinking more along the lines of the Buell lightning exhaust. I have been searching around and found the M4 GP for the GSXR1000 as a slip on but not sure what it would take to make it work or if it would be too long.
