I'll stop complaining about the cold and fog at home for a while, after spending a 100+ degree day in full gear at Prairie City (up near Sacratomato, right next to Hangtown, if you're interested.

My plan had been to do the pavement exhibition races that Brok of SupermotoUSA had planned, after warming up with some practice, then do some dirt practice and do the dirt exhibition races at the end of the day.  But I blew my wad in the first half of the day, and was too dead/dehydrated to do the second half of the day.

I did one race on my Titter and one on the Arr.  I got a great start on the first race and lead the first lap, so, as if to make up for that, I got a crap start in the second and had to work my way up from DFL.  I had fourth and was chasing third, but ran out of laps.  Vid of the second race on the Arr:

I was not the person randomly blipping the throttle at the start, BTW. :p  I continue to improve with braking and corner entry, and continue to need to work on line precision.  I've also been working on making my passes stick; in the past, I've lost time in traffic and lost positions from not making aggressive-yet-clean passes, waiting too long for a too-big gap to go through on, and I had a chance to work on that.

After all, I do this just to improve my skills and have fun - and it certainly does all of that.  Oh, and it gets my ya-yas out so I ride like less of an @$$hole on the street.

That squeaky sound is not a hamster hitching a ride - it's my helmet rubbing against my neck brace. :p

Awesome video, that looks really fun.

How do the guys react when they are passed by a pink bike?

They come up afterwards with all of the bazillion reasons why they weren't as fast today as they usually are...   :icon_lol:
