Top gear roll ons, available power for when you need it, being able to accelerate when you want to. It takes maturity and skill to control that power, but can be quite handy when you know how to use it.

Those are all nice things and I completely agree that with maturity and skill it would be good things to have, but clearly not a necessity. A GS has fine power to ride the streets and with proper skills enough acceleration/handling to be able to stay safe even on the highway. On that note, I guess it would be a lie to say I don't want that power eventually. But right now, 3000 miles in? No thanks, I like my GS too much right now

Please say v8 mustang, cause you won't be tailgating many of us in a v6

not even with a v8 could he tailgate should the rider chose to leave. unless of course he's talking about say, a Shelby GT500 Super Snake.....
