if you offer/claim to make a service availible through this site do everybody a favor.....

if you DON'T want the work......say so up front

if you've got more work than you can handle.....say so up front

if you DO want the work, and you CAN handle it advise estimated time to do it........up front

if someone sends you something regardless of the value, be considerate and let them know you received it.

put yourself in the other guy's shoes- treat them the way you'd want to be treated.

i'm not going into names, etc. and not planning to do any PM's on this,  i've got 9 so far and think that should be enough.
just think this might be nice to point out to folks.
that said as a customer i'd  like to say there are some things customers should do

if you want/need something done email ahead of time to get pricing/preferred method of shipping/ any other specail instructions

arrange ahead of time for payment method, including any "up-front" costs in case the folks doing the service need to spend out of pocket
on parts etc.

don't expect overnight service- unless you've discussed it and the $ it entails.

email when you need to, but don't pester- a message every few days is ok, but multiple messages a day isn't cool unless special circumstances merit it.

again, this is the way i do business, and most of the time it works.
but, not all the time.
