Hi all,
Well I am back to lowering my bike yet again :(  I laid my 2007 gs500f down about 3 weeks ago, long story short, 2 of my friends wrecked in front of me, and went flying down the middle of the road, bikes tumbling end over end, my choice was run my friend over in the middle of us 127 @ 65 mph, or take my bike into the shoulder/ditch. sigh...  well anyways I went down on the side of the road, they totaled my bike out.  I went and got another 2007 GS500F, I was able to take all my custom stuff (seat, and links) off of my other bike.  I went to install the links (Soupys performance, turnbuckle style fully adjustable) onto my new bike this weekend and well they won't fi :2guns:t!!! It appears that on the right hand side there is excess weld build-up on the swingarm, and it prevents the link from properly lining up.

I am looking for new style of lowering links.  I see that a lot of the specs call out that the links fit an 89-06.  Did they change something in 2007?  I need to have a 2" drop, has anyone used the Diamond or protek links on a bike newer than an 06?
Please help :(  My new bike has been sitting on the center stand for a week and I just want to ride!

Thanks in advance

The Burkhart links seem to be a good buy.  I have some Pingel ZX6 links on my 02 GS that lower it 1 1/4" which I bought before I discovered the Burkhart links.  Never saw or used the Burkhart links myself but they're less than half the cost of the Pingels and available in most any length you'd want.

Gring the swingarm ... not like swingarms are that hard to find. Buddha himself have 2-3 laying about. And knows others who have more.
Cool.
