Flooding Carbs/Adjustment

Recently cleaned out my carbs using the excellent Wiki link and now the fuel flows well, only a bit too much. Now my carbs are flooding! On the prime setting fuel pours out of the top somewhere and all over the place. When I drain the bowls and start it up again the RPM's climb higher and higher with no throttle sometimes, until the carbs fill up and it begins leaking again. Can I get some more awesome GSTWINS advice on how to mitigate this issue, or on carb adjustment in general?

One (or both) of your float valves is not closing.  Take the float bowls off and make sure the needles are in the right place, and that there is no trash in the valve seats. 

Another thing to check would be the O-rings around the outside of the valve seats.  If they are old, they are probably flat or cracked.

Yeah it's something with your float valves.  Do what paulcet said.  Although if both are over filling you could have a plugged carb vent hose (the one on top of the carbs).  I had the carb vent hooked up to gas cap drain and it gave me all sorts of intermittent flooding issues because of a pressure lock or something like that on the carbs.
