Hey everyone, long time reader, first time poster.

Mine is a 2005, bought 2 years ago with 4000km on it (2485 miles), so I basically got it just after someone went to the trouble of breaking it in properly.

After 2 years of great riding and lots of love, I've decided to start and make it more my own. I had some questions about aftermarket products and their installation. I read the thread about somebody else's mods http://gstwins.com/gsboard/index.php?topic=43390.0 and liked some of the ideas. I plan on repeating the vinyl seat cover (but in red), and absolutely replacing the periscope-like turn signals. If I could get a link to the specific flushmounts somebody would recommend for a faired GS, I'd be much obliged (and if you could let me know if I need the turn signal mounts as well, or if they flush well by themselves). Whether I am to use the same ones for the front as the back, I don't know. I sort of like the smoky or black-looking ones, since the bike's main color is black, but I can't say I'm much of a fan of carbon fiber unless its going to be a main theme.

Here are some pics as-is, and I'd love to hear any ideas of what people would like to see on a red/black 05 that they haven't before. Thanks, and I look forward to updating you with my progress.

I have a set of flushmounts that are black with a smoke lens for the front that i will sell you for $10 assuming you are in the US.  I will include the mounting bolts the PO used to install these as i believe they are still with the blinkers or else you can just use standard bolts to mount them to the fairings.  they are like the ones pictured in this link.

they are a standard bulb so you won't have to worry about all the hassles of the led blinkers.

the only reason i am not using these is cause i bought a different set of led blinkers.
K&N Lunchbox, Jardine Full Exhaust, 15T Front Sprocket, 40T Rear Sprocket, Shock Racing LED Mirrors, LED front blinker, LED Integrated Taillight, Additional LED rear blinkers, Scorpion sealed Battery, NGK Iridium Spark Plugs, Cafeboy seat cowl (in process of painting)

Unfortunately, I'm in Canada, and sometimes customs can be retarded (6 month inspections on an iPod box? Seriously.), but usually they're okay.

I have some rear huggers for sale...very simple install. Adds to the looks and keeps the rear end clear of junk to boot...
