Just wanted to say a BIG thanks to this excellent forum, a bunch a great people with tons of useful info  :thumb:  I had my 07 GS for just over a year, when my dad informed me he was selling his bike, an 09 Triumph Speed Triple.  I got a family discount, so I couldn't pass it up  :icon_mrgreen:  I picked the bike up in Tulsa and rode it back to Albuquerque this past weekend and almost put on as many miles in one day as he had in a year, lol

The GS was a great bike to learn on (my first) and I'm taking it easy on the new bike as the 1050 cc engine is insane, but very fun!  It has Brembo brakes, and it stops on a dime, to reign in all that power!

I'll be selling my GS in spring, to get maximum $$$ when the riding season starts back up.

Picture of new bike

and here's a picture of my brother & me getting ready to go for a ride when I picked it up this weekend.  He has an awesome 07 Ducati Monster S4RS

Thanks for the nice words guys, yes it is my dream bike too  :icon_mrgreen:

'i've got a couple action shots of a very smilar duc and a speed triple..'      ohgood      Those are some great pics of those two bikes, thanks for the pics  :thumb:

The Speed Triple is one great sounding bike, that's for sure! and it gets plenty of looks  :thumb:

I know that Triumph dealers usually are one of the few dealers to allow test rides, if you get the chance, jump on it!

My brothers Ducati has the dual Termignoni exhaust in carbon fiber and that sounds bad ass as well  :thumb:

Here's a couple more pics of his as requested:

Thank you all for the pics!  Keeps my dream alive for that Damn Testestretta.

Yup, I wish i would have taken the ride.  It was one of those moral issues where I knew I wouldn't buy the bike and I didn't feel right leading the salesman on.  He didn't care, but I did.

That's just how my last bike was, absolutely everything was black, with the exception of the engine bolts and the exhaust, although I did get a black exhaust eventually. Looks awesome!
