When I'm riding and I release the throttle, the rev stay a litte at 3k rpm and slowing decrease when I completly stop.
I'm not a well experimented mecano. Do you have an idea what is causing this?

By the way, last week was my first real ride on my bike... I just like the feeling and handling.
I can not compare with another kind of bike or cc because it is my first one, but for the moment, 500cc is enough (and the sound with the little pipe is incredible).

Thanks gang

Sounds like a vacuum leak or a stuck throttle cable.  I would suggest a search for 'vacuum leak' because there are many different places that you might have to check, or wait because someone someone more knowledgeable will probably come along.

Good luck.

It could be the throttle cable. This bike have been unused for almost 2 years.
Can I use a kind of lubrifiant to clean the cable?

sounds like hovering idle problem.
here is a reading for you: http://gstwins.com/gsboard/index.php?topic=41199.0

before you start make sure you do whatever is said in #1 = adjust your idle AFTER the engine is fully warmed up - after about 10-20 minutes of riding.

good luck
