do we need rules to prevent thread dumping?

yes, it is annoying when people put-down other peoples merchandise, or prices

I like the bashing when it's for the common good. Nothing wrong with checks and balances...someone tries to pull a fast one and it is squelched quickly is always a good thing.....and makes for good reading, too :icon_mrgreen:
Calling an illegal alien an 'undocumented immigrant' is like calling a drug dealer an 'unlicensed pharmacist'

Lots of newbs read these forums, and some seem to think that the newbs are here for the unscrupulous types to take advantage of, which is why some of us post in those threads to keep the sellers honest, and to help keep the newbs from being screwed. If some seller doesn't like that, I really don't give a sshiittt. If someone is trying to take advantage of the unknowing, or sell something overpriced to the ignorant, they've got this website called "eBay" where they can peddle their trash. If that doesn't work for them, they can post their crap on Craigslist... but they should be prepared to get a workout here from the members who've been around the block a few times, which includes Buddha, Pablo, me, and a cast of thousands.

I understand why you started this thread, jeremy_nash, but since this forum claims to be "newb friendly", I reserve the right to post anytime, anywhere, to help keep a seller honest, or just to help educate the newbs, and I'm willing to bet that Buddha and a lot of other members feel the same way about this.

I'm willing to bet that you're thinking way too much about this ...

Waiting for you ... what ... not me ... crap ... I feel so un wanted now ...

I will make a small aside though ...
If you feel someone is deserving of a thread dump, I'd say ask a Q as to why its so high.
Like someone selling a motor for 1000 bucks, post and ask routinely the motors sell for 200-300, why is yours so high ?
Something like that. Too many things have no established price though ... but commonly sold items do, so worth trying out ?
