Front end noise

I've had my 2005 GS500 for a few months, bought it 2nd hand with 3700km. From the beginning, I've noticed that whenever I ride over bumpy roads, I would hear some rattling noise. At first I thought it was just something loose. But I've checked everything I can think of and still can't find the source. Then I thought it could be coming from the fork spring. I read that the stock springs are very soft and can make noise due to spring slap  :dunno_white:  So I removed the fork caps and install some 3/4" spring spacers. I like the increased ride height, but the noise is still there. Is this a common thing with these bikes? Does anyone know what could be the cause?

I had a rattling from the front end while hitting bumps too.

Mine was caused by the front fender bolts being loose from the fork brace.

push down on your front fender and see if it is securely bolted to the fork brace.

I checked my front fender and all the bolts are tight. Any other ideas? I can hear some rattling noise if I push the front suspension up and down with the bike stationary. Of course it's not as loud because I can't push as hard as what a bump on the road does.
